Warner At Transport Cemetery The death of Clarice Vivian Warner, which occurred at the home of her brother, Ocie Warner, last Friday afternoon at 3:30 brought sadness to the entire community, where she has lived since infancy. She was taken violently ill at 6 o'clock Thursday afternoon and passed away the next afternoon just as the Rock Island train arrived bringing her father, for who she had called during the entire day. Clarice was eighteen years of age and would have entered the senior class of the Winnfield high school had she lived until its opening. She lost her mother by death when she was just three years old and since that time has lived with her brother, Ocie Warner, and family, where her genial disposition made her a cherished member of the household. The remains were conveyed to the Transport Cemetery Saturday and laid to rest in the family burial gound by the side of the grave of her mother. Rev. C. C. Weir of Winnfield conducted the last sad rites. Surviving relatives are the father, Monroe Warner, of El Dorado, one sister and three brothers, viz: Mrs. Tom Hale and Dewey Warner, of Norphlet, Ark., and Ocie and Dorice Warner, of Winnfield.
