John W. Warner Is Buried Monday At Gorhamtown

John W. Warner of Joyce died unexpectedly at his home Sunday.  He was 68.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of God with Rev. J.
M. Sanford officiating.  Burial was in the Gorhamtown Cemetery in Joyce under
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, George Warner of Jackson, Miss., and
Jesse Warner of Oak Grove; a daughter, Mrs. Omega O'Neal of Logansport; four
brothers, George Warner of Liddieville, Lee Warner of Winnsboro, Henry Warner
of Winnfield, and Arnold Warner of Gilbert; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Thomas
of Shreveport, Mrs. Ruby Woods of Ruston, and Mrs. Media Stringer of Dallas,
Texas; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
