C. W. Wardlaw, 65, Dies After Brief Illness

Clarence W. Wardlaw, 65, of Calvin and Houston, Texas, died June 22, 1967
in a Houston hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Calvin Baptist Church with Rev.
Elmer Pinder officiating.  Interment was in Teagle Cemetery near Winnfield
under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice J. Wardlaw; one brother, L. C.
Wardlaw of Savannah, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. S. M. Shows of Mansfield and Mrs.
R. E. Bolton of Beaumont, Texas.

Acting as pallbearers were G. H. Walker, Leon Carpenter, Richard Heard, Frank
Martin, James Martin, and Everett Thurmond.
