James R. Warner Succumbs In West Monroe Monday

Funeral services for James R. Warner, 80, who died in West Monroe Monday, were
held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe.
Officiating at the last rites were Rev. Jeroy Weber and Rev. R. H. Staples.

Mr. Warner is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Warner of West Monroe; and
two daughters, Miss Zola Warner of West Monroe and Mrs. Bertha Boyette of
Santa Ana, Calif.; one grandson, Lt. H. A. Boyette of Susburg, Austria; and
two granddaughters, Mrs. Alyene Shaw of Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. Yvonne
Boyette of Los Angeles; four great grandchildren, and two brothers, John
Warner of Winnfield and Ed Warner of Jonesville.

Mr. Warner was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe.  He had
been a lifelong resident of Winnfield until five years ago when he moved to
West Monroe.
