C. Warner, Former Winn Resident, Dies Dorrice C. Warner, 65, of Campti, died Thursday, April 18, 1974 in a hospital in Coushatta. A resident of Winnfield for many years, he was a parts manager at Winn Motors. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. Miley Walsworth, Jr. and the Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial was in Winnfield City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Warner of Campti; one son, John W. Warner of Shreveport; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Frick of Campti, Mrs. Lynn Julian of Lake Charles; two brothers, Dewey Warner and J. B. Warner of Cotton Valley, La.; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Lawson of Merritt Island, Fla.; three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and three step-great, great grandchildren. Pallbearers included Ellis Williams, Harper Terrill, Olan Warner, Jack Luttrell, Arthur Warner, and Martin Sanders.
