Last rites for Mrs. Eula Cheeves Warren, of Dodson, widow of the late Elbert Warren. Services were held at the Dodson Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Ray E. Prager, and Rev. Elmo Peddy of Marshall, Texas, officiating. Burial was in Gansville Cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Mrs. Warren died just nine months after the death of her husband, who passed away January 2 of this year. In September she went to New Orleans to attend the marriage of her nephew, and while there, she fell and broke her arm. She remained there until October 11 when she came back to Dodson to attend the homecoming at the Methodist Church. A few days later she returned to the home of her daughter in Lafayette and was stricken with pneumonia, and lived only a few days. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Order of the Easter Star. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George M. Kern, Jr., and Mrs. Erline Warren of Lafayette; three sons, W. E. Warren and E. C. Warren, both of New Orleans, and H. E. Warren of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Ola Terral of Dodson; four brothers, I. C. Gentry, Jonesboro, I. L. Gentry, Dodson, E. H. Gentry, West Monroe, Walter Gentry, Abilene, Texas; nine grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were W. E. Warren, E. C. Warren, George M. Kern III, Hershel Gentry, and Marshal Jastram.
