W. Wasson, and took from the home its most precious jewel, the wife and mother. She was sick for a few days only when erysipelas set in, and though her condition was critical hopes for her recovery were entertained until just before her death. She was a sister of Mrs. D. M. Pyburn and Mrs. B. H. Talbot of Dodson, both of whom, together with other relatives of this section, have been with her since it was first known that her condition was serious. The body was shipped to Dodson on the morning train, accompanied by a number of the relatives and friends of the deceased, most of whom proceeded to Gansville, where burial took place yesterday afternoon. the deceased lady was about 40 years old and leaves a large family of children, a husband and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her untimely death. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and withal a most estimable character, whom to know was to admire. The Comrade extends sympathy to the bereaved.
