Jerry Smacker officiating. Burial was in the Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, La. Survivors include two sons: C. C. Wasson, Jr., Shreveport; Walter J. Wasson, Oakland, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ad Goringer, Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Virginia Pecori, Shreveport, and five grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, J. M. "Mack" Wasson, Charlotte, N. C., Herbert S. Wasson, New Orleans, George Wasson, Little Rock, Shelton Wasson, New Orleans; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Finlay, and Mrs. M. L. Meador, both of Olla, Mrs. Laura D. Henderson, Santa Maria, Calif., Mrs. Eula Curry, Winnfield, and Mrs. Steve Norris, Bossier City. Mr. Wasson, the son of the late John M. Wasson and May McBride Wasson, was born and reared in Winn Parish, left Winnfield when a young man and for many years was employed by an oil company near Vivian, where he lived. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Shreveport.
