Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 1969, at the Christian Harmony Baptist Church where she was a member, with church pastor, Rev. Oliver Roberts, assisted by Revs. Hathorne and Otis Dumas officiating. Burial was in St. Maurice Cemetery on Hwy. 71, north of Montgomery. The deceased was a lifelong resident of Natchitcohes Parish and was the widow of the late Albert Waters. She is survived by three children; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Lewis, Rt. 1, Montgomery, La., and Mrs. Elsie Frederick, Natchitoches, La.; one son, Harrison Moreau, Pineville, La.; one brother, S. N. Thompson, Colfax, la.; 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
