Watson of Sterlington, who was fatally injured in a fall from a moving car Friday night, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church near Bastrop with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery near Bastrop. It was reported the child opened the car door to throw out a sandwich. His mother will be remembered in Winnfield as Miss Olive Jenkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Jenkins, formerly of Winnfield, and now of Springhill. Besides his parents, he leaves two sisters; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Jenkins of Springhill and Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Watson of Sterlington. He was the great grandson of Mr. Jim Eagles of Winnfield. Among those from here attending the funeral were Jim Eagles, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Eagles, and J. T. Porter.
