Waxley Claimed By Death Albert W. Waxley, age 50, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Velma Griffin, in Rochelle, March 29. Mr. Waxley was ill with pneumonia six days. He was born in Sabine Parish on February 3, 1879. At the age of nineteen he was united with the Methodist Church. Mr. Waxley was united in marriage with Miss Mollie Dawson in 1901. To this union there were born eight children, two of which survive him, Clarence Waxley of Rochelle and Mrs. David Griffin of the same town. Mr. Waxley was held in high esteem by his many friends and dearlly loved by his family. He daily lived that his life might be a light for those around him. He always stood for the rights of God and his fellow man. Those who survive Mr. Waxley are as follows: Mrs. David Griffin, Mr. Clarence Waxley and his brother, Mr. Guss Waxley of Montgomery, and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. T. Harris of Rochelle, La. Interment was in the Zion Church Cemetery at Zion Church. The floral offerings were beautiful.
