Death Claims J. W. Weathersby, Former Resident

Funeral services for J. W. Weathersby, 62 year old retired Louisiana &
Arkansas Railway man from Atlanta, Texas were held this week.  Mr. Weathersby
died at a Shreveport hospital Sunday.  He had suffered from a heart ailment. 
He was conductor when he retired after 20 years service.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Juanita Weathersby; three sons, James
W., Homer, and Billy Weathersby.

Mr. Weathersby and his family formerly resided in Winnfield.
