J. W. Weatherford Buried July 11 At Beech Creek

Last rites for Joseph Walter Weatherford, 73, farmer of Beech Creek, who died
July 8 in a local hospital, were held July 11 at 2:30 p.m. in the Beech Creek
Church with the Rev. E. B. Barton and the Rev. J. W. Cox officiating.  Burial
was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were David, Cody, and Eugene Hand, Junior and Roy Weatherford, and
R. B. Jones.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mollie Willis Weatherford; six sons, Clarence and
Austin of Joyce; Earl of Olla; Elzie of Hammond; Ellis of Calvin; and Leon of
U. S. Air Force, Japan; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Jones of Rt. 1, Olla and
Mrs. Annie Mae Roberts of Columbus, Miss.
