Masonic Rituals Held at Funeral Of Ed Weeks, 71

Last rites were conducted last Thursday for Ed Weeks, 71, of Cullen.

Mr. Weeks had been ill with cancer in the home of his granddaughter for
several weeks.  He was born and reared in Ward 10, and had been a member of
the Masonic Lodge for a number of years.

Funeral services were in Yankee Springs Baptist Church with Rev. C. M.
Robinson and Rev. R. F. Hancock officiating.  Burial was in Yankee Springs
Cemetery.  Masonic rituals were performed at the graveside.

Survivors are one son, Elmer Weeks, of Goldonna; two brothers, Jim of
Winnfield, M. M. of Goldonna; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
