Funeral Services For Jim Weeks To Be Held Friday

Funeral services for J. M. "Jim" Weeks, 76, who died at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Wesley Carter, Lafayette Street, Winnfield, Thursday at 8:30
a.m. will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Yankee Springs Church.  Officiating
will be the Rev. Rufus Kitchingham.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

A native and retired farmer of Ward 10, Mr. Weeks had been making his home
with his daughter in Winnfield for about 16 years.

Besides his daughter, he is survived by one son, Amon Weeks of Glenmora; seven
grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Marshall Weeks of
Goldonna.
