Sadie Weeks

Services for Sadie Roland Weeks, 68, of Winnfield, were held at 11 a.m.
Saturday in Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Revs. W. L. Fussell and Leonard
Free officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mr. Weeks died Thursday, January 10, 1980 in the Schumpert Medical Center in
Shreveport after a short illness.

Survivors are his wife, Bernice Weeks of Winnfield; one son, Vernon Weeks of
Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Johnston of Winnfield; three brothers, G.
B. Weeks of Goldonna, Ray Weeks of St. Francisville, and Raymond Weeks of
Baton Rouge; two sisters, Corrine Dean of Goldonna and Dorothy Calvin of
Minden; and four grandchildren.
