E. Weeks, 68, Buried Thursday At Antioch Final rites for Wiseman Everett Weeks, 68 year old Dodson resident were conducted Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Antioch Methodist Church near Gansville. The Re. Mrs. P. C. Cook of Jonesboro and the Rev. Mrs. Robert Worley of Quitman officiated with interment in the church cemetery by Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Mr. Weeks died Wednesday in a Jonesboro hospital after a 10 day illness. He was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the Congregationalist Methodist Church at Bear Creek. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ethie L. Weeks, Dodson; four sons, Faxon, Floyd, and Robert, all of Dodson, and Boyd, Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Reena Fitzgerald, Dodson, and Mrs. S. E. Norton, Hobbs, N.M.; a brother, Arthur Weeks, Jonesboro, and six sisters, Mrs. Bessie Maxie, Mrs. Carmen Irving, and Mrs. Ruby Parker, all of Jonesboro, Mrs. Julia Sanders, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Pearl Smith, and Mrs. Eva Walker, both of Goldonna. Pallbearers were Lee and Thomas Fitzgerald, C. H. Durbin, Edison Walker, Albert Bedgood, and Dwight Weeks.
