Funeral Services For Mrs. D. Weems Held Sunday P. M.


Mrs. Dolly Weems, age 74, lifelong resident of Winn Parish, died in a local
hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Tullos Sunday
afternoon, August 22, conducted by the Rev. B. T. Milford, pastor, and burial
was in the Magnolia Cemetery near Tullos.

Surviving are two sons, E. T. Weems, Natchez, Miss., and S. M. Weems, Tullos;
three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Pendarvis, Mrs. Estelle Miles, of Tullos; and Mrs.
Elmer Miles, Grayson; one brother, Y. M. Sanders, Bastrop.

Pallbearers were W. J. Miles, W. M. Miles, H. E. Miles, C. W. Miles, J. S.
Miles, and J. Mannies.
