She died after an illness of about eight months. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Hart Church, with Rev. Joel Upton and W. S. Emmons officiating. Burial was in Wright Cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro. Mrs. White, a native and life-long resident of Winn Parish, was the wife of the late Andrew Jackson White, and daughter of the late Joel and Eliza Underwood. She is survived by one brother, Ivy Underwood of Sikes, two sons, Drury White of Sikes and Nathan White, of West Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Smith of Sikes, Miss Carrie White of Sikes, Mrs. Audie Banks of Columbia, and Mrs. Sam Sanford of West Monroe; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Stacey Smith, Delmer Smith, Curtis Smith, Maxel Smith, Jack Smith, and Wilford White.
