She was the daughter of William and Margaret Texas Richards Hickman, and was born in Bradley County, December 3, 1887. Mrs. White was a housewife, the widow of Alfred Franklin White, deceased February 18, 1939, and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Warren. Survivors include a son, William Reece White of Dodson, Louisiana; three daughters, Mrs. Georgine Price of Winnfield, Louisiana; Mrs. Mary Sue Galloway of Dodson, Louisiana; and Mrs. Elizabeth Dean of Warren; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Castleberry of Norphlet, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, and twenty three great grandchildren. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 1980 at Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes with the Rev. Willie James officiating. Organist was Mrs. Janice Sullivan. Burial was in Hickory Springs Cemetery in Bradley County, by Grazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Pallbearers were Aubert Reynolds, W. D. Roddy, Lynn Cockerham, Jesse Soileau, Richard Galloway, and Timothy Stevenson.
