Columbus W. White, 67, Dies October 31st

Hudson Resident Succumbs at Pineville Hospital

Columbus W. White, age 67, died at a Pineville hospital where he underwent a
major operation, Thursday, October 31.

Mr. White is a member of a well known family of the Hudson community.  He has
been in ill health for more than a year.

Mr. White is survived by his wife and one son, Johnnie White, of Hudson; a
daughter, Mrs. Noah Fox, of Hudson; one brother, Martin White, of Hudson; four
sisters, Mrs. Jim Johnson, Mrs. J. R. Waters, of Hudson; Mrs. J. E. Young, of
Cheneyville; Mrs. Thomas Williams, of Oakdale, la., and others.

The funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at ten o'clock at Welcome
Home Baptist Church with Rev. John Kitchingham, of Columbia, and Rev. W. J.
Cookston, of Winnfield, officiating with interment at Welcome Home.
