September 5, 1973 Mother of O. T. White Dies; Funeral Mon.

Mrs. Willie Thomas White, 92, of Jamestown, widow of David Morgan
White, sr., died Saturday, September 1, 1973 in a Natchitoches
nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Rockett Funeral
Home in Ringgold.  Burial was in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Will Tyler of Coushatta,
Mrs. Mace Regions of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Avis Noles of Heflin; a
sister, Mrs. Sudie Hall of Ringgold; six sons, Fred White of
Hattiesburg, Miss., Oran T. White of Winnfield, D. M. White of
Satellite Beach, Fla., James L. White, Lamar White, and D. E. White,
all of Jamestown; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and six
great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Lawrence White, Claude White, Jr.,
Edward White, John David Noles, Richard Noles, Bernard Smith, Tommy
Glen Jones, Bill Jones.
