She was an employee of the Pinecrest State School. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Siloam Baptist Church in Gansville with the Rev. L. C. Swanner officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Charles C. Whitton of Shreveport and Cecil A. Herrell of Cypress, California; two daughters, Mrs. Murvin Mott of Pollock and Mrs. K. D. Futrell of Blanchard; two brothes, James H. Sholars of Waco, Texas and J. R. Sholars of New Orleans; three sisters, Mrs. S. D. Avery of Jonesboro, Mrs. L. E. Boyett of Winnfield, and Mrs. Claude O'Bryan of West Monroe; and 12 grandchildren.
