Funeral Rites For W. F. White Held Thursday

William Franklin White, 89, of Route 1, Winnfield, died at 4:15 p.m.
Wednesday, May 19, 1971 at a nursing home here.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby White of Winnfield; one son, Tony White
of Minden; two sisters, Mrs. Owen Gauthier of Cottonport and Mrs. Elmo Tullos
of Pineville; one brother, W. T. White of Abbeville; four grandchildren and
one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Ivy officiating.  Burial was in Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Walter T. White, Jr., A. B. White, Jr., Richard Tullos, Tim
Tullos, Bobby Tullos, and Jan Tullos.

Wednesday, May 19th, 1971, at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home here.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby White of Winnfield; one son, Tony White
of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Owen Gauthier of Cottonport, La. and Mrs.
Elmo Tullos of Pineville; one brother, W. L. White of Abbeville; four
grandchildren, one great grandchild, also one stepdaughter, Mrs. Tivis
(Crawford) Holland and eight step grandchildren.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral of Frank White
Thursday, May 20, were Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Tyler of Shreveport; Mr. and Mrs. W.
T. White of Abbeville; Mr. and Mrs. W. F. White of Houma; Tony White of
Minden; Mrs. S. R. Goutha, Mrs. Mary Goutha, Mr. and Mrs. Goutha of
Cottonport; and Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Tullos of Pineville.

(I believe the above "Goutha" should be "Gauthier")
