Former Winnfield Resident Dies

Mrs. Walter W. White, 56 years of age, a former resident of Winnfield, died in
the St. Francis Sanitarium in Monroe, May 11, following an operation.  Burial
was made at the Pollock Cemetery Sunday, May 12, with the Rev. Hearne and Rev.
Smith of Monroe in charge of the services.

Mrs. White is survived by two sons and one daughter, Frank White of
Shreveport; Ralph White of Monroe, and Mrs. Percy Jones, Pollock.  She also
leaves three sisters, Mrs. S. D. Cantley, Oil City; Mrs. Nona Roberts,
Pollock, and Mrs. John Lee, Grayson.  She was an aunt of Mrs. Cecil Earl of
Winnfield.  Attending the funeral from here were Mrs. Earl, Mrs. J. H.
Crawford, and Clarence Sutton.
