J. M. White of Sikes Typhoid Victim Sun.

J. M. White, 47 years, 8 months, and 16 days of age, who died at his home in
Sikes, Sunday, August 18, 1935, was buried at the Sikes Cemetery Monday.  Rev.
L. D. Emmons officiated at the services.

Mr. White was born and reared at Leander, La.  He had been residing at Sikes
for the past five months.  He was married to a Miss Mary Smith at Craven, La.,
July 5, 1918.  Others surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. White of
Leander, La.; one son, Walter White; one brother, Willie White, Leander, La.;
one sister, Mrs. Bill Monk, Laurel Hill; half brother, Josiah Leltra and a
half sister, both of Leander.
