Funeral For Mrs. D. W. White in Jonesboro Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. D. W. White, 52, of Dodson, who died in the Bernard
Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., Tuesday, will be at the Southern Funeral Home,
Jonesboro, Friday morning.  Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery near
Jonesboro.

A native of Jackson Parish, Mrs. White had made her home in Dodson for the
past several years.  She had been in ill health for some time and had been a
patient in the St. Louis hospital for the past three months.  She was a member
of the Baptist Church.  The remains were expected to arrive at the Funeral
Home Thursday morning.

Surviving are her husband, D. W. White, of Dodson; one son, Freeman Evers,
with the U. S. Army, who has just arrived in Germany; and several sisters.
