Funeral Services For F. B. Williams Held Fri. June 18

Funeral services for Fred B. Williams, Sr., who died in a Shreveport hospital
on June 17 were held at Summerfield Baptist Church near Colfax the following
day with interment in the church cemetery.

A resident of Montgomery for many years, the deceased is survived by his
widow, Mrs. Randy Williams of Montgomery, four sons, Earl Williams,
Montgomery, Fred B. Williams, Jr., Army Medical Corps, Germany, Brian
Williams, Air Force, Houston, Texas, Grover Williams, Monterey, Calif.; one
daughter, Mrs. Ruby O'Neal, Shreveport; two stepchildren, Hershel McDaniel,
Evergreen, Mrs. Blanche Chelette, Orange, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Lettie
McKeithen; one half-brother, Lonnie Williams, Colfax; two half-sisters, Mrs.
Rose Fuller and Mrs. Ada Williams, Colfax.
