M. H. Wiggins, 71, Claimed By Death Monday, July 5

Marshall Houston Wiggins, 71 years, eight months, and 10 days of age, died at
his home in the Beulah community Saturday, July 5, 1948, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held the following day at 2:30 in the Beulah Baptist
Church with the pastor, Rev. C. R. McCartney, officiating.  Interment was in
the Georgetown Cemetery.

Mr. Wiggins was born and reared near Summerville, La., and was married to the
former Matilda Jane Strange.  He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church and
will be missed by a host of friends and relatives.

Surviving are his wife, two brothers, and one sister.
