J. S. Wilder Of Ward 9 Succumbs Sunday, July 3

J. S. Wilder, 68, a resident of Ward nine, Winn Parish, died July 3, 1960 in
a local hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were conducted July 4 at 10 a.m. at the Jordan Hill 
Pentecostal Church with Rev. D. G. Boyett and Rev. Clarence Bates officiating.
Burial was in the Jordan Hill Cemetery under direction of Edmonds' Funeral
Home.

Mr. Wilder was a retired employee of the State of Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Smith Wilder, Winnfield; three brothers,
John Wilder, Jena, Jack Wilder, Bastrop, and Jeff Wilder, Winnfield.

Acting as pallbearers were Melvin Smith, Kenneth Smith, Leonard Smith, Arnold
Wilder, George Jordan, and Earl Jordan.
