Funeral Rites For John W. Wilder Held

John William Wilder, 83, died at 4:15 p.m. Friday, June 12, 1970 in a nursing
home in Jena.  He was a native of Winn Parish and had lived in Jena since
1951.  He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha S. Wilder of Jena; three sons, Grady
Wilder of Jena, Leonard Wilder of Springhill, Mo., John D. Wilder of Slidell
and nine grandchildren.

Fuernal services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at East Jena Baptist Church. 
Burial was in Nolley Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of
Jena.
