Mrs. Wilder, 47, Dies; Rites Held At Big Creek

Rachel Wilder, 47, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Winnfield, died
Monday, November 16, 1970, at 4 a.m.

She was a native of Winn Parish and widow of the late W. C. Wilder.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lois McCartney of Olla, and four nieces.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Big Creek Baptist Church at
Jordan Hill with Rev. W. V. Russell officiating.  Burial was in the church
cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Pallbearers included Owen Jordan, Harvey Jordan, Clayton Jordan, Woody Smith,
Eugene Rosier, and Huey Maloy.
