Ansley O. Willis, Jr.

Services for Ansley Ovey Willis, Jr. were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Temple
Baptist Church with the Revs. Carrol Garlington and Larry Doughty officiating. 
Burial was in Nolley Memorial Cemetery under direction of Kinner & Stevens.

Willis, 86, of Jena died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 1992 in his
residence.

He was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church and a dredge boat operator
for 44 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Herring Willis of Jena; two daughters, Joyce
King of Shreveport and Patricia Dosher of Winnfield; two sons, Aaron "Buddy"
Willis of Jena and Albert Willis of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Scott Willis, Jason Willis, Bradford King, Victor Zordan,
Eric Gossett, and Raymond Sharp.

Honorary pallbearers were the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
