E. L. Willis, 42, Former Winn Resident, Dies

Edward Lamar Willis, 42, former Winnfield resident and dairy company worker,
died in Ruston Friday, May 25, after a heart attack.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Spears Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. D. Frank Walker officiating.  Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Willis was the local manager for the All Jersey Milk Company for several years
here until returning to Ruston about five years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Willis, Ruston; a daughter, Mrs.
Lillian Willis, Ruston; four sons, Edward, Jr., Donald, David, and Steven, all
of Ruston; two brothers, Alfred Willis, Ruston; James L. Willis, Fruitvale,
Texas; three uncles, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for the service were K. W. Beatty, Louis Libscomb, Bert Risher,
Charles Holland, Clyde Pesnell, and T. Walker Milam.
