Fay Willis; 13 Years Of Age, Succumbs to Short Illness Thur.

Fay Willis, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Willis, died at his home
here Thursday afternoon of last week following a two week's illness.  Funeral
services were held at the Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 2:30 with burial
in the local cemetery.  Rev. A. H. Cullen conducted the last rites.

Fay was born in LaSalle Parish in 1919 but has lived most of his life here. 
He was a member of the Baptist Church and active in the Sunday School and 
B. Y. P. U. work.  He was a scout, a member of Mr. Smith's troop and a member
of the eighth grade class in the Winnfield High School.

The lad leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Willis, and two brothers, Welby
and Aaron, to mourn his death.
