N. Willis, Sikes Native Dies July 13 Funeral services for Franklin N. Willis, 87, of Clarks, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Hebron Baptist Church near Sikes with the Rev. James Love officiating. Mrs. Willis was a native of Sikes and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Willis died at 4 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 1975 in Caldwell Hospital at Columbia after a long illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ida Willis of Clarks; two sons, Nathan Willis of Clarks and Benny Willis of Winnfield; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Honeycutt of Grayson, Mrs. Maurine Tullos of Sikes, Miss Beatrice Willis and Mrs. Eunice Monroe, both of Clarks; one brother, Rube Willis of Oak Grove; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Patten of Clarks; 29 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
