A. Willis Dies; Rites At Hurricane Grove Mrs. Mary Emmaline Willis, 75, of Sikes, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 1974 in a Ruston hospital. She is survived by her husband, W. A. Willis of Sikes; four sons, William Lloyd Willis and Arlis Willis, both of Monroe, Wiley Willis of Shreveport and Johnny Willis of Bossier City; five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Parker of Sikes, Mrs. Oleta Campanelli of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Mary Ellen McCartney of Gretna, Mrs. Janelle Schwab of Warsaw, N. Y., and Mrs. Gloria Jean Brerman of Walla Walla, Wash.; two brothers, Houston Brister of Seiper and Lawson Brister of Minden; two half-brothers, Carl Brister of West Monroe and John Brister of Gardner; four half-sisters, Mrs. Jettie Hahn of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Mary Ellen Walden of Gardner, Mrs. Dorene Gray of Alexandria, and Mrs. Ava Dyess of Pineville; 32 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hurricane Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Smith and Rev. Ernie Yocum officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery under direction of Southern.
