O. Willis Held At Hebron June 20 Funeral services were held at Hebron Baptist Church near Sikes, June 20, at 2 p.m. for O. O. Willis, who passed away June 17 in a Monroe hospital, after suffering a heart attack about one hour before his death. Mr. Willis was a lifelong resident of Sikes until about 12 years ago when he moved to West Monroe. Had he lived until Dec. 4 he would have been 84 years old. Mr. Willis was a member of Hebron Baptist church and of Rosemary Lodge No. 278, F. & A. M. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lydia Gentry Willis; one son, Lloyd, and four daughters, Mrs. Bill Causey, Mrs. Lillian Fatheree, and Gladys Willis of West Monroe, Mrs. Elmer Pauley of Springhill; four brothers, Rube Willis and Alvin Willis of Oak Grove, Nim Willis of Grayson, Albert Willis of California; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Patton of Pine Bluff, Ark.; a number of grand and great grandchildren. Re. F. P. Seal and Rev. A. A. Calhoun were in charge of the service. Rosemary Lodge No. 278 members held Masonic rites at the graveside.
