Willis Services for William A. Willis, 84, of Sikes, were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Hurricane Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Smith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield. Mr. Willis died Tuesday, May 5, 1981, in the local hospital after a long illness. Survivors include four sons, William L. Willis and Arlis R. Willis, both of Monroe, Johnny Willis of Bossier City and Wiley B. Willis of Shreveport; five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Parker of Sikes, Mrs. Oleta Campanelli of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Mary Ellen McCartney of Picayune, Miss., Mrs. Jenall Schwab of Warsaw, N. Y., and Mrs. Glorida Berman of Walla Walla, Wash.; a brother, Elvin Willis of Sikes; four sisters, Mrs. Lottie Buchins of Winnsboro, Mrs. Bertha Erskins of Crossett, Ark., Mrs. Donnis Stroud of Winnfield, and Mrs. Loraine Parker of Sikes; 32 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
