Mrs. R. L. Wilson Succumbs; Rites Held Saturday

Mrs. Robert L. Wilson, Sr., 79, a resident of Winnfield, died at 9:45 a.m.
Thursday, April 16, 1970 in a Shreveport hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Sanford Kelly, pioneer
residents of Winn Parish and a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Robert L. Wilson, Jr., of Pineville; four daughters,
Mrs. Dolly Berry and Mrs. Lottie Tullos, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Charles Reed
of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Homer Waites of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Mary Mott,
California; and a number of grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home here.  Burial was in the Gorham Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lee Berry, Charles Reed III, Jame Jordan, Ronnie Hemphill,
Gene Terral, and Rick Wilson, all grandsons and great grandsons of the
deceased.
