Death Claims J. D. Wilson of Curry Community

J. D. Wilson, 24, a native of this parish, died at his home in Curry early
Monday, Dec. 6, 1948.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Wilson of Curry,
and had been an invalid for about 12 years.  His health had been reasonably
good until the past two years.

J. D. was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Surviving are his parents, one sister, Mrs. Yvonne Sanders, Natchitoches,
his Grandmother Wilson and his Grandmother Mercer, and a host of other
relatives and friends.

Rev. G. W. Miles of Tullos conducted the last rites with Rev. Albert Nugent
assisting.  Hixson Funeral Home was in charge with burial in the Cox Cemetery
Tuesday at 11 a.m.
