Mrs. V. C. Wilson Dies At Son's Home Monday Morning

Mrs. Valeria Catherine Wilson, 79 years old, died at the home o f her son,
Henry C. Wilson, here, Monday morning, at seven o'clock. Mrs. Wilson was born
in Alabama moving to this state with her parents when about three years old,
settling near Atlanta where she resided until two years ago when she moved
here to live with her son Henry C. Wilson.

She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church with her membership at
Salem, Lincoln Parish, having joined that church in early childhood. Mrs.
Wilson was the mother of eight children, five of whom survive her, Jerry,
Wesley, and Henry C. of Winnfield, Alfred Wilson of Jonesboro and Mrs. E. A.
Simmons of Many.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Durham with interment in the
Sardis Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at four o'clock.
