Double Rites Held For Father, Daughter

Combined funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Southern Funeral
Home Chapel for William Oscar Wilson, 86, and his daughter, Floyce Gertrude
Wilson, 62.  Rev. Grafton Shaw and Rev. Wilmer Jordan officiated.  The father
and daughter died 19 hours apart Saturday, February 13, 1971.  Burial was in
Sanders Chapel Cemetery.

Miss Wilson died at 3 a.m. Saturday at her residence at Route 3, Winnfield and
her father died at 10 p.m. Saturday in the Winnfield General Hospital.

He is survived by two sons, Olen Wilson and Ira L. Wilson, both of Winnfield
and three daughters, Mrs. H. M. Carpenter of Winnfield, Mrs. Charles Dooley of
Alton, Ill., and Mrs. Ellis Weatherford of Joyce; eight grandchildren and
three great grandchildren.

Miss Wilson is survived by two brothers and three sisters.
