Winn died at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. H. Peters, Friday morning at 1:45 o'clock. She had been in ill health for the past five years. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 5 p.m. Friday, and the remains were conveyed to Tunica, La., where last rites were conducted Saturday afternoon. The Rev. H. B. Hysell and the Rev. Alwin Stokes conducted the services. Burial was in the Tunica Cemetery at which time the Rev. J. M. Alford of St. Francisville and the Rev. J. H. Smith, chaplain at Angola Farm, officiated. Acting as pallbearers were W. L. Owen, A. C. Rogillio, Cumbley Weeks, J. H. Mosley, and James Erskins. Mrs. Winn was the wife of the late Dr. R. S. Winn of Tunica, had made her home in Winnfield with her sister, Mrs. Peters, for the past 12 years. She was an active member of the Methodist Church and was assistant teacher of the Wesley Bible Class. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ada Brown, Baton Rouge; Mrs. June Verneersch of Phoenix, Ariz.' and Mrs. W. H. Peters of Winnfield.
