Death Claims J. M. White of Hudson, Nov. 9

J. M. White, 61, of the Hudson community, succumbed to a long illness November
9, 1943 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Frazier, of East Winnfield.
Funeral services were conducted November 10, at New Hope with the Rev. D. E.
Lemmons officiating.

Acting as pallbearers were Dan Lowery, Lewis Womack, Jim Dark, Clyde Berry,
Tommy Williams, and Walter Gates.  Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Frazier,
Bud Rice, Otis Holland, Raymond Day, and Milton Williams.

One of the more progressive farmers of the parish, Mr. White was born in the
parish on December 12, 1881.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons White; and the following
children: Mrs. Otis Holland, Castor, La.; Mrs. Raymond Day, Marion, La.; Mrs.
Ralph Frazier, Winnfield, La.; J. C. White, Hudson; Clayton White, Castor; and
Loyd White of St. Louis, Mo.
