H. N. Walker, 70, Buried Thurs. At Yankee Springs

Funeral services for Horace N. Walker, 70, of near Calvin, were held at 2:30
p.m. Thursday at the Yankee Springs Baptist Church of which Mr. Walker was a
member.

Services were conducted by the Rev. M. L. Moffett, with burial in the church
cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Mr. Walker died at 1 a.m. Wednesday in a Shreveport hospital after a lengthy
illness.

The deceased was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish and a retired farmer.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Midie Walker; a son, Eugene Walker of
Winnfield; two brothers, Moody and Allen Walker, both of Goldonna, and one
grandchild.
