Funeral Rites For Mrs. Cordis Williams Held

Mrs. Cordis Long Williams, 68, of Atlanta, died Thursday morning in her home
after a short illness.  

She is survived by her three sons, Gresham Williams and Louis B. Williams, of
Atlanta, and Donnie Williams of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Tom Driggers of
Jonesboro and Mrs. Otis Gorham of Houston, Texas; her brother, C. E. Gresham
of Atlanta; 19 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sardis Baptist Church near
Winnfield with Revs. Jack Jones and Ray Teal officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
