Doris Williams, 13, Pneumonia Victim, Dies

Doris Jean Williams, age 13 years, died at a local clinic Thursday morning,
March 13, following an illness of two days.  She was stricken Tuesday, when it
was discovered that she had pneumonia.

Complete funeral arrangements, which will be handled by the Hixson Funeral
Home of Winnfield, had not been announced Thursday afternoon.  Burial will be
in the Iatt Cemetery.

Miss Williams was a ninth grade student of the Winnfield High School.  She was
born at New Verda, La., March 18, 1933.

Surviving her are her mother, Mrs. A. C. Williams; two brothers, Melvin and
Charles Williams, all of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Oliver, of
Alexandria, Mrs. Lula Mae Hinds and Mrs. Margie Richards of Winnfield.
