Williams (Dr. David Binion Williams) Dr. D. B. Williams, age 88, who resided near Georgetown, this parish, died last Sunday of heart failure. Dr. Williams had been feeble for many years, but was able to be up most of the time. Dr. Williams was among Winn's oldest and most respected citizens, having spent a useful life among his neighbors and friends. Besides being a doctor, he was a Baptist minister to the spiritual needs of his fellow man as well as bodily ills. He was always public spirited, took an interest in politics and for two terms served Ward Nine as Police Jury Member. Since his wife's death several years ago he has lived with his children, three sons and three daughters survive him. They are Carl A., Wade, and Wiley Williams, Mrs. Ella Holbert, Mrs. Barney McIvale, and Miss Ada Williams. He was buried Monday afternoon at Zion Cemetery.
