H. Williams, 69 years old, a prominent citizen of Natchitoches, died at his home Monday night at 10 o'clock. Mr. Williams formerly lived in Winnfield and is a nephew of Mrs. Lillie Kelly of this city. He and his first wife, Miss Edna Milling, were married here, and later moved to Montgomery where they resided for many years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with interment at the American Cemetery, the Rev. C. D. Carroll of New Orleans, his son in law, conducting the services. He is survived by his widow and nine children: Mrs. J. H. Stephens, wife of Judge J. H. Stephens of Shreveport; Mrs. G. H. McNeely of Colfax; Mrs. C. C. Carroll of New Orleans; Mrs. G. Pierson, Mrs. W. E. Alcock, Bertha, J. H., Jr., and R. D. and Evelyn Williams, all of Natchitoches, and two brothers, Judge J. A. Williams of Colfax and W. P. Williams of Natchitoches.
